The rules printed on the lid

House rules for the site itself. Shorter than the ones in the box, and there is no scoring.

What this site is

A catalogue of the games we make. Every page exists so you can see what is in a box, who it suits and what a round looks like before you decide. Reading it costs nothing and commits you to nothing.

Prices and what they mean

Each price shown is the figure we last read on the live listing, and listings move whenever the store feels like it. Treat the number here as a guide and the number at checkout as the fact. If the two disagree, the checkout wins.

Stock

We mark a game as scarce when the listing is running thin, but a card game can disappear between our last check and your click. Nothing on this page is a promise that a specific box is sitting on a shelf right now.

The names on the boxes

Thrilly, the rocket and the game titles are ours. Other brands mentioned in our guides — the classics people compare our decks to — belong to the companies that made them, and we mention them because that is genuinely how people describe games to each other.

Using what is on this page

Quote us, screenshot us, send a product page to the friend who is hosting. If you want to reproduce the photographs or the writing commercially, send a note first and we will almost certainly say yes.

Rules disputes

Our written rules are the ones in the box. If something on this site contradicts the rulebook you are holding, the rulebook holds — and please tell us, because that means we have a page to fix.

The table is already out

Pick the box that matches the loudest person you invited. That is the entire method, and it has never once failed us.
